Coming Sunday
Linda will preach on “Canticle of the Turning.” Mark Freeman and Thomas DeBusk will provide our special music. It is 2 Cents a Meal Sunday so bring your coins for the bin.
After church, we will have Lemonade on the Lawn (or in the Narthex depending on the weather).

Happy Birthday Lou Brown The Northside Deacons are celebrating Lou Brown’s 99th birthday on Sunday, August 10, at 2:00 in the Game and Craft Room at English Meadows, 3400 South Point Drive. Nursery in the Sanctuary
The theme of the service last Sunday was "Jesus Loves the Little Children" so the nursery was moved to the playground in the sanctuary. We are experimenting with having the children being in the sanctuary during the service.

Monday Night Supper |
Monday's meal was crispy chicken strips, mixed vegetables, potato salad, fruit, and cookies. There were 75 meals served. Helpers were George and Marge, Barbara, Ann Marie and Maria, Marshall, Alex, and Georgia, Susan, Linda, and Bruce and Heidi.
